As part of the CAISE Inquiry Group on Assessing Impacts of ISE Professional Online Communities, presentations for six NSF-funded professional development web sites [MSPnet, ITEST, CSAS, ExhibitFiles, InformalScience, SMILE] were given by project team leaders.
As part of the CAISE Inquiry Group on Assessing Impacts of ISE Professional Online Communities, presentations for six NSF-funded professional development web sites were given by project team leaders. Randi Korn gave a talk on Impact Categories drawn from the new NSF guidelines established in the "Framework for Evaluating Impacts of Informal Science Projects" on which she is a co-author. Dr. Brian Butler from the University of Pittsburgh Katz School of Business provided a slide set entitled "Web2.0 Opportunities & Challenges."
